Winemaking: Organic Riesling grapes from a single plot were hand harvested and underwent fermentation with indigenous yeast. No fining or filtration and just a small amount of sulphur on bottling.

This Wine: To celebrate our 5th anniversary in 2021, we released a special wine from the Brand Brothers, which was also 5 years old at the time! This is a serious white wine made with grapes that come from a single vineyard known as Hill of Flags. This is one of their prime spots for growing Riesling in the region as it gets plenty of sun but lots of cooling wind, hence the name. Expect a high intensity of lemon and lime aromas along with that hint of petroleum, synonymous with great expressions of this grape variety. Best with food.

Notes on the Winemaker: Daniel and Jonas Brand hail from Pfalz where they took over their family winery in 2014 to concentrate on fully natural wines which are unique, alive and bursting with personality. We visited in 2018 to explore the vineyards and learn the stories that accompany the wines.
