Winemaking: Organic Romorantin grapes were harvested by hand. Fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in old wooden barrels. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Romorantin is one of the indigenous grape varieties that the Puzelat family have fought hard to protect and promote. This is a mineral focussed wine with medium body that is best enjoyed alongside a seafood dish.

Notes on the Winemaker: Thierry Puzelat is a local legend in his region of Touraine in the Loire Valley and his domain Clos du Tue-Boeuf has been organic since 1996. His daughters Zoe and Louise are now taking over the reigns. The blend of grapes in each cuvée often differs year to year as do the wines themselves and that's just how we like it.
