Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic grapes were sourced from a neighbour in Alsace. Long, slow press before fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel. Bottled with no fining or filtration and just a touch of sulphur. 

This Wine: The new iteration of Eden Edelzwicker and Assemblage. Peachy, hazy colour with lashings of refreshing, zingy acidity. Elderflower, grapefruit, lemon and lime. A litre of fun but it still has loads of complexity. 

Notes on the Winemaker: The Durrmann family make wine in the village of Andlau on the slopes of Vosges mountains in Alsace. The vineyards have been organic since 1998 and sulphur free cuvees have been produced since 2007 after Yann (the son) took over running the winery.
