Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic Zibibbo grapes from a single plot of 100 year old, un-grafted bush vines were hand harvested and fermented in terracotta amphora that are buried underground. Aged here for 7 months on the skins. No filtration, fining or added sulphur.  

This Wine: Natural orange wine from the unique island of Pantelleria from one of the most sought after producers around. This is the big brother to the Serragghia Bianco 2021 cuvée with greater intensity, concentration and power. So much complexity including aromas of neroli, Sicilian herbs, bergamot with a long mineral finish. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Gabrio & Giotto Bini are located on the remote island of Pantelleria in between Sicily and Tunisia. Despite the hot climate, they manage to retain freshness in the wines thanks to the elevation of the vineyard site which is one of the highest on the island. Their cuvées have become world renowned for their intensity complexity thanks in part to their use of amphora vessels that are buried in the vineyard.
